Jonzi D is a name well known on the underground hip hop scene in the UK as one of the foremost pioneers of hip hop theatre, which does exactly as it says on the tin: fuses hip hop and theatre to create an exciting form of entertainment for a new audience.

Jonzi's latest project is a production entitled Markus The Sadist which stars UK artist-on-the-rise Bashy in the title role. He plays a young emcee earning his stripes on the battle circuit. Attracting the attentions of record companies and unscrupulous management, Markus has to agree to certain conditions in order to capitalise on the offer of a lifetime - He must sound American, mention his sponsors and have a gang affiliation. After signing and reaching the dizzy heights of rap superstardom, this story takes an unexpected turn as Markus decides to switch styles at the height of his popularity…..

The month long tour begins on October 1st and travels around the UK. If Jonzi's past productions are anything to go by this is not to be missed!
