With a HIP HOP STATE OF MIND the guiding ethos, HIPHOP.COM aims to bring you a high quality balance of coverage from both the hottest new artists and the iconic architects of the past. Together with international artists, the site will cover graffiti writers, b-boys, DJs, producers, books, events, films etc., ensuring all the elements of the culture are fully represented.

From launch in 2009, the site illustrates this balance with an exclusive feature on the inauguration of President Obama written by the most important figure in hip hop's political history, Chuck D - and a revealing two part interview with the biggest contemporary rap star on the planet, Lil' Wayne.

Features, reviews and playlists (charts) will be created by some of the most respected hip hop journalists, photographers and historians in the world; including contributors to the LA Times, Vibe, BBC, Chicago Tribune, Hip Hop Connection, The Times, XXL and MTV.
